ViewPoint is a high-performance, professional-grade serial data visualization platform that lets engineers, researchers, educators, and hobbyists see complex, real-time signals clearly, at full speed, without compromise.
The app is structured around deterministic streaming, protocol-driven configuration, and rendering modes designed for real measurement and experimentation workflows that are comparable to those seen with high-performance test equipment.
At a practical level, ViewPoint gives a user one tool to:
- connect to embedded targets over serial communications (typically USB),
- configure plot behavior from firmware or UI,
- visualize real-time data in multiple domain-appropriate modes (time, XY, polar, persistence, spectrogram, color-gradient),
- locate and inspect peaks and harmonics with marker tools,
- derive traces (moving average and min/max-hold),
- and capture both raw datasets (CSV) and presentation artifacts (screenshots/screen recordings).
